Im not crazy I'm just a little unwellRunning nose, slight sore throat, blocked ears (for some reasons, i donno why).
Damn.
My last sore throat wasn't too long ago. And now, i have to go through it yet again.
The "2 days" weekNot wanting to work closing, so my manager only put me 2 days to work this week - Friday and Sunday. I mean, what the fuck man? People usually work 5 days and rest 2 days and seems like im the opposite? Maybe im the special one (in the good way hopefully).
I screwed myself up last sat at the frap station. Man, due to the stupid Great Singapore Sales, there are freaking many people. I received like 5 drinks at one go, making me totally messed up. Well, im seriously nervous doing all the drinks asap as orders kept on coming in. I even blended the drinks, then to realized that i didnt add the ice in. That was seriously some embarrassing shit.
At the end of the day, my manager (who lives a street away) told me to go home practice some taiji, because im too slow. Again, WHAT THE FUCK? Well, quite true also la hor..
Then we took the "techno van" transport home. If China ever have their own version of Pimp My Ride, the pimped ride will be how the van will look like. Well it's cool to have a LCD integrated at the back and front (in working condition), it's not cool to have multiple colors flashing lights in a plastic box which you can make in your ex sch's D&T room, flashing like it's Christmas, having half dead coffee boys staring at it like they are high on drugs.
Riverside Homecoming is coming up, and i heard that there are going to be like 200 people attending. Sounds like a big deal for 10 bucks, guess this is part of the great singapore sales. I hope the food don't sucks like the ones we had during prom night.
Well, that's it, bye bye!
One Tall Decaf Frappuccino Ice Blen...WHAT?!Working is fun everyday! Everybody talking shits, haha. I was thrown to the bar and frap station which sometimes makes me damn nervous. While attending bar or frap station, we have to repeat what the cashier shouts.
So when my partner( the way we address each other) shouts "Frap, we got 3 drinks - Tall Caramel Frappuccino ice blended coffee, Tall Decaf Chocolate Chip blended cream and a Venti White Mocha Chocolate blended cream."(said in 4 secs)
Guess what i shouted back?
Correct, i shouted back "HUH?".
Seriously, this "shouting back order" thing is really making me shitting my pants while i can't managed to call back the orders, with the customers staring at my blur face.
Strange right? such simple thing like calling back drinks is my weakest link among all the other tasks.
I also made a "Starbucks Bible" myself for noting down all the notes for making different coffees.
The shiok thing is that i dont have to spend a single cent on my meals as i can just take one dish and drink as i want! HELL YEAH! The bad thing is the fucking MRT is draining me dry. Hope i can make my Nafa student pass asap.
And also, GTA 4 fucking rocks! Thanks Tiong who helped me bought it, and sorry for bugging you for it, LOL. You guys got no idea how irritating i was. Now he has fobia buying games for me. HA.

Stop playing maple kids, start playing some man games.
Which means
i am a man
alright....
The Art Of Espresso
Yesterday was cool, learning the Art Of Espresso. Sound "wow" right? But is was actually pretty easy la (shy*). Ok, the difficult part was actually remembering all the different ingredients. I think just Espresso drinks alone, there are bout 10 over drinks to memorize.
Here's a picture of my friend holding the Espresso Menu for me

Ok, maybe in this menu, there isn't more than 10 Espresso drinks, my guess is that it must be something to do with my friend's age, so i hope you guys may excuse us.
We tried out making 3 drinks - Latte, Cappuccino and Mocha.
Latte's taste is very plain, So i'll recommence Vanilla Latte instead, if your guys prefer something with more sweetness and taste.
For Cappuccino, i was reluctant to even taste it.
Mocha was quite good, with chocolaty taste. Something i like.
So yesterday was the last day of the 4 lessons which i had to attend in Commonwealth. The rest will be in store training, which means, you will see me in Orchard.
The Coffee Job
People are probably wondering how is it like working at Starbucks. Well,
aside from getting free coffees, i myself, am not very sure( YET) as i still got to attend some lessons(study's back) before officially start working.
On Monday (which was my "1st day"),
i was given the treatment of their so-call "first impression" which every new dudes will receive. I arrived 0930, half an hour earlier than i should. It's not because im too kan cheong or something ok, it's just pure wrong timing. But anyway, it's a pleasant thing anyway.
Upon reaching, Janet(my manager) was kind of shocked to see me reaching 30mins earlier, told me to go to the back 1st and take a look around. Both of Rasydin's cousins were there( which one of them was a Ex-Riversidian).
They were actually quite fun as i remembered one of them carried something in while singing (OH WHAT YOU'VE DO TO ME~ OH WHAT YOU'VE DO TO ME~) in a funny tone. After browsing around,
i realized that Starbucks is very discipline. They will have all sort of rules on the walls, motivational messages and stuffs. That pretty much explains their success - By treating their workers more than only workers.
Later, i was taught by Janet (
my pretty manager) some basics of Starbucks, like the expectation and staffs. One interesting part i remembered was that
i was taught how to taste a cup of coffee. There are 3 steps, which im too lazy to explain. Well, i'll be looking forward to work, while enjoying myself there.
P.S. the coffee i tasted sucks - bitter coffees are certainly not my cup of coffee. (man did u, did you see that? i should have said "not my cup of tea", but instead, i replaced the word with "coffee". So i said "not my cup of coffee". You know, it fits so well as im working in Starbucks. Go on, go and and spread the joke... go on! i Bet they'll love it.
This should be my very 1st day working, but they called me yesterday, and told me they have decided not to hire me.
Ba, im just kidding dude, the person-in-charge told me she was unable to make it today, so it's changed to Monday instead.
I think im turning into a uptown boy very soon as im going to study, and work in town area in the VERY near future if you notice. Westlife will then probably make a new single titled "Uptown Boy" and make a couple million of dollars. Ok maybe thats not funny, erm, hehehehehe?
Craps aside, we went Orchard yesterday, due to the ultimate boredom we were suffering at our own homes. Me, ky, Choonmin and Tiong went there to do some shopping, mainly buying some cloths.
We were all very lame, making funny, irritating, weird laughters along orchard road, and i was super lame making stupid jokes which fails to tickle their funny bones through out the entire day.
hehehehehe, bye
Starbucks JobOn wed, i went interview for a job in Starbucks, and guess what?
I'm hired! From what i had experienced during my trip down there, everyone were very friendly . I hope i'll will have a great time working there.
Ok, after interviewing successfully, i took the train all the way back to Woodlands to meet up with Choonmin and Cheetiong, as we are going to boat quak(or whatever i donno how to spell the place) to sing KTV, and also witness how Liverpool lost, HA.
The KTV was fun, with each table restricted to 2 songs each turn,
so it's like a mini concert for star-wanna-be, like me to sing in front of people who i dont know. I sang Wo Bu Pei, Chi Xin Jue Dui, Ta de mei mao - i mean, ta de jie mao, Shi nian(with ky), Chang Fei(with ky), Ling ai ING(with ky) and probably a couple more.
We all got drank after we left(it was like 4 am). I know i am as i was not able to walk straight, but i was still very aware of what i was doing, so do KY. The other 2, were like drank cats, not very sure wth they were doing.
So we happened to pass-by this pub, where the Champions League was screening. We stop and we witnessed how Chelsea defeated Liverpool. After the match, we hanged around, and took taxi home.
Labor Day? Ha, play soccer, as if you wanna read about it. Right? So i shall skip that.
